Content Management

You may not eliminate all your filing cabinets, but implementing a Content Management solution is a step in the right direction.  Imagine having instant access to any document without being restricted to a specific filing process.  For example:

• In Accounts Payable - search for any vendor's invoice during the last 6 months that you coded to a particular GL account number.
• Again, in Accounts Payable - let your auditors find their own information by providing restricted access to your documents.  They find what they need without interrupting your day and they are out of your office faster.
• For Human Resources - it would be nice to quickly locate all your I9 forms.  Or maybe, let department managers (who might be located in remote offices) have access to just their direct reports' employee review forms.
